Construction Supervision for Jericho wastewater collection system- Phase II

The wastewater collection and conveyance system in Jericho serves more than 15,000 residents of the municipality. This project aims to expand the sewer collection and conveyance system and construct 2,200 additional household connections. This will increase access to safely managed sanitation services for the people of Jericho City.

The project also plans to provide approximately 500,000 cubic meters per year of additional non-conventional, climate-resilient resources for irrigation. This will help protect the environment and the limited water resources from contamination.

Furthermore, the project will expand the use of solar energy to provide a cost-effective and reliable power source for the Jericho wastewater treatment plant. This will allow the plant to fully operate on clean energy.

Overall, this project will enhance the wastewater management infrastructure in Jericho, improve access to safe sanitation, generate renewable resources for irrigation, and reduce the environmental impact of the wastewater treatment operations through the use of solar power.
