The purpose of the project is to provide a reliable, safe and affordable water supply to Yatta City and the nearby Beit Emra village as well as the construction of distribution water system necessary for the expansion of the existing networks. This project is an extension to the currently ongoing USAID project in Yatta and Beit Emra; where upgrades and expansion to the existing transmission and distribution mains are being implemented.
The activities include the construction of steel pipes with diameters ranging from 50mm to 150mm, in northern and southern Yatta City and in Beit Emra Village.
