Project Overview
The strategy aims to develop a formal wastewater sector strategy for the Palestinian Water Authority. The purpose of the strategy is to provide a framework for future development of the wastewater infrastructure within Palestine.
Actual Services Provided
The work is organized into four groups:
- Planning work group
- Technology work group
- Institutional work group
- Support group
A series of technical memos will be generated by the groups documenting inventories of collected data; compiling summaries of applicable wastewater policies, regulations & laws; and recording minutes of meetings and workshops. These Memos will present evaluation of this information, and outline guidance & recommendations for organizing, changing and improving the functionality and operation of the wastewater sector in Palestine.
